The Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA) outlines the activities and specified investments which determine whether or not your business is required to be authorised by the FSA.  As a result, you need to establish whether your firm's proposed business requires you to apply for FSA authorisation/Registration to carry on FSA regulated activities.
